Discover Sayville Congregational United Church of Christ

Rev. Kate Kelly, Pastor

Heather Corcoran, Church Administrator

Sean Cameron, Director of Music

Rev. Kate Kelly is a pastor, preacher, and community builder who has served as the Minister of Sayville UCC since 2025.  She previously served Presbyterian congregations for over 23 years.

Rooted in the progressive Christian tradition, her ministry is shaped by a deep commitment to justice, expansive theology, and worship that is both thoughtful and transformative.

Kate brings a love of scripture, storytelling, and feminist and liberationist theology to the pulpit, inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to engage faith with curiosity, courage, and compassion.

She is especially passionate about creating spaces where LGBTQIA+ people, seekers, and the spiritually wounded know they are fully seen and beloved.

Beyond the church walls, Kate is a devoted parent, an avid baseball fan, and a believer in the holy power of good conversation, strong coffee, and shared meals. It is her great joy to walk alongside this congregation as they live out God’s love in the world—boldly, tenderly, and together.

Kate's office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm.  Afternoons/Evenings by Appointment
